Go to dELiA*s stores and try on a pair of jeans to receive a free $10 gift card. I have done this several times and as far as I know, there are no strings attached to actually getting the gift card. Usually there are a few restrictions on the gift card (I think one of them is that you cannot buy things on clearance). But, it is definitely worth it because you don't actually have to buy the jeans to get the gift card.
Usually after I do this I purchase two pairs of socks which are almost always "buy one get one 50% off." Because of this I usually get two pairs of really cute socks for less than $3 (including tax)! Even if you don't need them for yourself, they make great gifts or prizes!
